The past is only the future with the lights on

Mon Jan 19, 2009, 7:09 PM
Quit cryin' your eyes out
Isn't there something familiar about me?
So quit cryin' your eyes out baby

+44

Playlist on random.

"Your eyes are the brightest of all the colors"

The work is done but the storm has just begun.

Man, it's been a weird couple weeks...ever feel like your in a dream when you're awake and when you sleep your dreams feel more real then reality? I've been sleeping.

When you've been going on adrenaline, and that runs out, what are you going on? Pure soul and spirit? I can feel my soul.

I don't see you but I reach out and you're there. I feel you, but when I turn around you are gone. How are you so fleeting? Where have you gone to? I wish you would stay.

It's been a really weird past couple days
My thoughts are a haze
Who thought you thought I said I was unphased
I could go on for days

If I could I'd suck your blood with my fang, 'cause that's just the kind of boy that I am.

Drug Of Choice

Tue Dec 9, 2008, 2:43 PM
You float on.
Only how can a balloon in the wind seemingly be
unaffected by anything?

...But the truth is, what gets to you is everything. If it
kills you, just return. If you can detox why not retox?
Now who's to say your habit is such an atrocity?
Own your own judgments, you're independent, a sovereignty.
What's the worst that can happen, it's not like you'll die.
Is your sobriety really worth it when you cry?
                                      -
Solemnly walking alone takes its toll with time.
Tis dark down (t)here, but a candle of hope can light a cave of
infinite darkness.
Little dew drop drips, the field may think of it nothing,
Ladybug beneath it lands on, that drop changes everything.
                                      -
Less a spine, no one can stand straight, and
One day you'll notice your silhouette is slopping.
Vertical, you must stand up for what you want for once.
Even you know you want to.
                                      -
You know the one who never got anything is the same as the
One who never took a chance.
Unlock and open up before ears close. Speak.
...and forever you will dance...

8/23/2008

So I already know that this is gunna be one of those journals that have become so cliche where I just write about my day or whatever, but hey everyone does 'em at some point and knowing this in advance you now have the opportunity to stop reading and do something else if this type of thing bores you lol. That said, today was pretty sweet; SATs posted and now I can stop worrying whether or not I gotta take em again, so that's good. Also, knowing how I did, I can full-heatedly press forth into the vast unknown that is post-secondary plans with a clearer picture of where I stand. I'm actually thinking some of my reaches might not be entirely out of my grasp =) There is a long road ahead, but the streetlights are starting to turn on and illuminate it. I really can not wait for college now, and as hard as it will be to say goodbye to friends, the new experiences will be worth it. The futures looking not so distant, and that excites me. I saw Skye tonight which was good too because ever since his big news he's been real busy but I'm really excited for him and can't wait for things to start up. Sadies is tomorrow and I can't go because of work, which isn't really to big a loss because it didn't really intrest me anyways, plus it's probably for the better since ACTs are Sat morning in god knows where since SKHS wasn't offering them this time around (I should prooobbably check my entrance doohickey sometime soon). At least after the test I got some fun planned so it won't be a totaly sucky weekend. So, all in all, it's been a good day. And to anyone who has yet to doze off reading this or navigate away, thanks for reading! More to come as this story developes.
